No doubt you’ve probably heard of Chancer’s Cafe, thanks to their gloriously fluffy waffles, crispy and juicy fried chicken, and *those* beignets. But did you know you can get all of this delivered to your door?
Introducing Chancer’s Delivery.

Located on Pershore Road, Stirchley, Chancer’s Delivery is the take-away service from the team behind Chancer’s Cafe offering customers glorious fried chicken, waffles and beignets.

Chancer’s Delivery is the take-away and delivery option that absolutely needs to be on your radar, because who doesn’t want the juiciest, crispiest fried chicken delivered to their door? If you’ve ever visited Chancer’s Cafe on Pershore Road, then you’ll know just how mouth-watering their dishes are and with their take-away and delivery service, you can enjoy their tasty treats in the comfort of your own home whenever you like.

On the menu at Chancer’s Delivery are all of their insanely delicious fried chicken burgers (of which there are 3, plus a veggie option – more on those later), as well as their signature waffles and beignets, plus fried chicken pieces and of course chips (because what’s a take-away without a side of chips, right?). So whether you’re grabbing a Friday night fried chicken feast to enjoy in front of the TV, or you need to satisfy your sweet tooth with some of those outrageous beignets, this take-away service is your go-to.

So what exactly can you get at this brilliant take-away? We’re glad you asked. You can, of course, enjoy one of Chancer’s delicious chicken burgers – all of which are made from boneless thigh (all of their fried chicken is gluten free, halal, and cooked to order). There’s the Chancer’s Chicken Burger (boneless thigh, mayo, baby gem, cheese and pickles in a brioche bun), the Chancer’s Gravy Burger (as before but served with house gravy on the side for dipping), and The Heater (same as The Chancer’s Chicken Burger but with a hot and smoky boneless chicken thigh – dreamy!). Not forgetting the veggie option – the Oyster Mushroom Burger (like the Chancer’s Chicken Burger but with battered oyster mushrooms instead of chicken).

If you’re not in the mood for a burger, they have other fried chicken options too including boneless thighs, juicy chicken wings, or succulent strips of chicken breast in a crispy coating. If you’re feasting, grab one of their Mixed Bags (or Large Mixed Bag) which features wings, strips, boneless thigh and chips for a ready made meal. If you fancy a little something extra you can grab some of their smoky beans or a side of halloumi strips too, and of course there are always chips and smoked cheesy chips.

If you’re in the mood for something sweet, then make sure to order one of their deliciously fluffy waffles served with icing sugar, Classic Fudge Sauce and chantilly cream (you could even pimp it up by ordering a boneless thigh to enjoy with it – fried chicken and waffles is a killer combo), or you can order some of their hugely popular and insanely tasty beignets to satisfy your sweet tooth. If you still haven’t tried them – this is your sign. These soft and fluffy pillows of fried dough are served with powdered sugar and the aforementioned (and unbelievably epic) fudge sauce for dipping. And folks, once you beignet, you’ll never look back.

The menu at Chancer’s developed rather organically from their origins as a confectioner, creating the tastiest fudge around. Co-owner Cassie created a mouth-watering fudge sauce with nothing to go with it, and James wanted to make beignets. He made a couple of batches one Saturday during lockdown and the rest is history. Once they’d renovated the cafe next door they added buttermilk waffles to the menu and served them with that deliciously sweet fudge sauce and fried chicken. From there a chicken burger followed, and now they have the three variations, plus a veggie option too.

So, to get your hallowed fried chicken fix you have three options:
- You can rock up in person and order your feast.
- You can order via their website for collection (and with option 1 and 2, there’s then the choice of either enjoying your meal in the comfort of your own home, or soon you’ll be able to enjoy it in a new al fresco dining area, so you can have an epic fried chicken feast with your mates in the sunshine – how delightful).
- You can order for delivery via Deliveroo or UberEats (however, the IB App deal doesn’t apply to deliveries, only in-person orders/collections).
However you do it, just know you’re in for an insanely delicious meal created with love by some of the very best in the biz. So next time you’re feeling peckish, foodie glory awaits with Chancer’s Delivery.
