Located in The Mailbox, EN Steak is the premium steak restaurant in the heart of the city centre.
This place is a true carnivore’s dream, so if you like to tuck into all things meaty then this is the restaurant for you. At EN Steak they take great pride in sourcing the finest cuts of meat. They source their high quality meats from award-winning farms in Herefordshire along with certified Japnese Wagyu from the finest cuts of Kobe beef. They only choose the very best cuts to ensure that every bite you take is bursting with flavour, tendernes and juiciness.
The steaks are obviously the main attraction at this establishment (it’s in the name after all!) and there are a number of cuts to choose from. You could opt for individual steaks (sirloin, fillet, rib-eye, rump) from the all-natural, grass-fed Hereford cattle (dry-aged for a minimum of 21 days) or for one of their luxuriously marbled Japanese steaks, or you could opt for one of the larger steaks which are perfect for sharing (or for if you’re just really hungry). All of the steaks are grilled over charcoal and cherry wood to give a delicate smokey flavour and served with your choice of butter.
To accompany your delicious meats cooked to perfection using the state-of-the-art charcoal ovens and dry-aging chambers, you can also enjoy some of the unique and flavourful side dishes designed to compliment those premium meats. Using locally sourced ingredients, the team at EN Steak have cooked up some classic sides such as confit potatoes, skin on chips and tomato salad. If you’re feeling a little more adventurous then why not opt for something different like their Thai noodle salad or a hearty mac and cheese to go with your steak instead.
Not only can you eat mouth-watering steaks and sumptuous side dishes, but there are alternative mains on the menu too. If you don’t fancy a steak then you can choose one of their other equally tasty mains instead, such as lamb rump, chicken supreme, a daily fish special or a tasty dry-aged burger. There’s also a grilled hispi cabbage option for veggies too. Whatever you choose, steak or main, you know that the chefs have sourced the best ingredients and your dish will be utterly delicious.
At EN Steak they know that the drinks matter just as much as the food, which is why they have put as much thought and care into their drinks list as they have their food menu. On the menu are a selection of delectable cocktails (both alcoholic and not) designed and mixed in-house, including some of their own signature drinks and a range of classics (Piña Colada, Clover Club, Whisky Sour and lots more). As well as these cocktails, there’s also a number of hand-selected wines, beers, soft drinks and more, so there’s a delicious drink to suit every palate.
The interior of EN Steak is as luxurious and beautiful as the ingredients they use in their dishes.
