When those foodie cravings hit – we have the answer.
Introducing Saint Paul’s Market.

Located on Mary Ann Street, Jewellery Quarter, Saint Paul’s Market is the food hall where all your foodie dreams come true.

This foodie paradise is your must visit whenever you need to satisfy your ultimate foodie cravings, where all of your favourite independent traders can be found under one roof and you can taste your way around the world without ever leaving your seat.

With 7 kitchens (all run by local Brum independents at the top of their game), 2 bars, 500 seats set across 2 floors, and a big shiny disco ball, this is the place to go for all occasions, big or small. Whether you want a quick bite to eat after work, a long and leisurely catch up with friends over some ridiculously tasty food, or to celebrate a special milestone with loved ones, this place truly has something for everyone – when those foodie cravings hit, Saint Paul’s Market is your answer.

Bringing something brand new and exciting to Brum, this huge, epic food hall is an awesome collaboration between ourselves (Independent Birmingham) and our good friends from Baltic Market (a well established, super-awesome food hall in Liverpool) as well as the legends from Buddha Belly. This venue is our love letter to the city, and to the independents we have championed for over 13 years – bringing together some of the very best restaurants from across the city and placing them all under one roof for your convenience. A place for foodies, created by foodies.

Speaking of convenience, Saint Paul’s Market has a super easy ordering system whereby you simply scan the QR code on your table and from there you can browse the menus from all of the traders, add your desired dishes and drinks to the basket and then checkout – the rest is done for you, so you can sit back and relax whilst the kitchens prep your food and our friendly staff will bring your dishes directly to you at your table. No queuing, which means more time for socialising, chatting and enjoying yourself, safe in the knowledge your mouth-watering feast is on its way to you. However if you prefer, you can also browse the menus next to each trader and order directly from the kitchens or bar – the choice is yours!

Come and sink your teeth into mouth-watering Persian dishes cooked over fire from Colbeh, incredible BBQ Thai small plates and curries made using authentic family recipes from Soi (the team behind Buddha Belly), glorious bao (including the super popular BBQ char siu bao that you all went wild for at our Independent Birmingham Festivals over the years) and Asian-inspired small plates from Tiger Bites Pig, juicy fried chicken (and those epic beignets with fudge sauce) from Chancer’s, Detroit-style deep dish pizzas and tasty sides from Corner Shop and vibrant, street-food style Indian dishes from Zindiya. LA-POP are on desserts with their customisable gelato lollies, indulgent cheesecake pops, cookies, cakes and more, and they have some warming hot drinks and milkshakes available too. Saint Paul’s Market is a true celebration of the very best of Brum’s indie scene.

At the bar you’ll find a wide selection of super tasty drinks: from house-crafted cocktails (featuring spirits from local distillery: Spirit of Birmingham) and non-alcoholic serves, to plenty of local craft beers on tap and by the can from Brum’s best indie breweries, as well as firm favourites like Guinness. We also offer a selection of wines, including some by local producers Midland Press, and lots of spirits too if you fancy a rum and Coke or shots, shots, shots. Plus, there are plenty of soft drinks, and low and no-alcohol options too – so whatever drink you’re in the mood for, we have you covered.

The building itself is a stunning 10,000 sqft former industrial warehouse, and we’ve made sure to keep lots of the details intact whilst breathing new life into this beautiful old building. Look out for the original brickwork and the cranes, juxtaposed with our disco ball and beautiful new kitchens and bars – the result is a welcoming space filled with character, both old and new. Oh, and we have a photobooth too – perfect for capturing a special memory from your visit.

If you’re yet to visit Saint Paul’s Market, make sure to head down to the Jewellery Quarter and discover your new favourite foodie hangout today. We can’t wait to welcome you.
