We love a good coffee shop, and luckily for us we are spoilt rotten when it comes to amazing coffee shops in Brum.

This neighbourhood coffee shop might just be your new favourite. Read on to find out more.

Introducing Lemonworld.

Located in Clonmel Business Park, Lemonworld is a speciality coffee shop and bakery, serving up coffees, cookies, sandwiches and more.

Birmingham isn’t short of good coffee shops, and we’re thrilled because there’s nothing we love more than cosying up with a delicious coffee and a little sweet treat and taking that all important few minutes to ourselves during a busy day, or taking time to enjoy a cuppa on a weekend. Those few minutes of slowing down can often feel like an indulgence in themselves.

However you like to enjoy a cup of coffee, there’s no doubt that it plays a big part in most of our lives, and this neighbourhood coffee shop is here to provide you with a truly wonderful cup of the good stuff. At Lemonworld they’re more than just a friendly face (but they are that too!) and they take their coffee seriously. The coffee beans come from Ritual Roasters and are selected to ensure a delicious brew each and every time. As well as delicious speciality coffees, you can also enjoy lots of other hot and cold drinks too, from teas to iced coffees and more.

After taking a break from the hectic world of marketing, owners Tash and Ross decided to take a risk and follow their passion to make Lemonworld happen. The name is inspired by their favourite track by The National (as music has played big part of how they escape, recharge and find joy), and a good soundtrack is key to providing the vibes. Lemonworld is a feeling – a made up word for taking a break from the daily chaos, something that Tash and Ross wholeheartedly encourage you to do when you visit.

At Lemonworld they’ve quickly become known for their cookies, so make sure to pick up a cookie (or two, we don’t judge) when you visit. We hear they might just be some of the very best cookies in Brum, and they’re always changing up the flavours so make sure to stop by and see what cookies you can enjoy. They even offer pots of mini cookies too which are as cute as they are tasty (which is to say: very) and perfect for snacking on throughout the day (if they last that long – they certainly won’t around us).

If you’re in the mood for something savoury then one of their focaccia sandwiches are an absolute must. Packed with delicious fillings (think along the lines of Mortadella, whipped ricotta, pesto and rocket or artichoke, red pepper and harissa houmous) the flavours change regularly to keep things fresh and exciting but they’re always substantial and utterly delicious. The ideal lunchtime treat to keep you satisfied long into the afternoon.

Not only are they dog-friendly, but your four-legged best friends are highly encouraged. The team like to take a polaroid of each doggo who visits to add to their little pup wall of fame, so make sure to bring your pooch along for a little coffee date.

The interior is very minimal and industrial, in keeping with their business park location. With high ceilings, whitewashed walls and a tiled counter, the space is light, bright and airy with some pops of colour thanks to their orange and yellow branding. Whilst primarily a take-away spot, serving the busy folks of B30, there are plenty of little places to perch while you enjoy your coffee and cookie if you prefer.

If you’re yet to visit Lemonworld, then make sure to stop by for mouth-watering cookies and heartwarming coffees.
