So, how does it work? Well, simply book your table (there’s a small charge per person, per hour at peak times) which allows you access to all of the incredible games in the fully stocked library (the options are virtually endless and you can view the games online first to help narrow down your decision when you arrive), turn up and settle in for some competitive fun. You can also order drinks and food throughout your visit to keep you fuelled in your battle for board game supremacy.
What’s on the menu at The Double Six? To drink, you’ll find lots of the usual favourites to quench your thirst at all hours of the day and night from soft drinks and hot drinks all the way through to wines, craft beers and a curated selection of cocktails (because what’s more fun than competition? Competition fuelled by alcohol!). To keep your hungry tummies full whilst you play you can order from the tasty selection of small plates (featuring crowd pleasers like padron peppers, macaroni cheese hash browns with honey chilli dip, slow braised barbecue brisket bites, and lots more) or one of their grilled Cuban sandwiches.
If you fancy something a little more adventurous then you can grab some of their Peruvian dishes created in collaboration with another Moseley favourite, Chakana. Here you’ll find tasty morsels like the roast chicken croquetas, oven-baked beef empanadas, slow-cooked suckling pig sandwich, and more. And, of course, you must save room for something sweet. With mouth-watering desserts like Peruvian chocolate mousse, chocolate biscoff cake, red velvet cake and more, there’s something sweet to put a smile on your face.
On top of the impressive games library packed full of smash hits, and a tasty food and drink menu, The Double Six also host events designed to get you out of the house and participating in some fun and games.
